RESOLUTION NO.
Title
A resolution to amend Resolution No. 5210 to expand the membership of the St. Charles Parish Bi-Centennial Committee.
Body
WHEREAS, the Parish Council adopted Resolution No. 5210 on June 21, 2004 which created the St. Charles Parish Bi-Centennial Committee; and,
WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 16, 2005 the Committee requested that it be expanded to include two additional members to represent the public at-large; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish Council to approve said request.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT WE THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL do hereby amend Resolution No. 5210 to add the following:
One (1) member representing the public at-large from the East Bank
One (1) member representing the public at-large from the West Bank
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said appointments shall be made by the Parish Council upon its own motion.
