Title
A resolution to amend the Parish Council Rules to revise Rule 1 to commence Regular Council Meetings at 5:30 o'clock P.M. on the first meeting of each Month and at 6:00 o'clock P.M. on the second meeting of each month.
Body
WHEREAS, in the essence of allowing enough time during each meeting to conduct Council business, the first Council meeting of each month from 5:30 P.M. to 6:00 P. M. shall be set aside to handle all Special Business recognizing all recipients of Proclamations, In Recognitions and In Memoriams and in addition not more than two reports pre-advertised and approved by the Council be presented at each meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby amend Rule 1 as follows:
RULE 1. (AS WRITTEN)
The St. Charles Parish Council shall hold Regular Meetings in the Council Chamber of the Parish Courthouse, in Hahnville, which shall commence at 6:00 o'clock P.M., on the first and third Mondays of each month. Should any of said days fall on a legal holiday, such meetings may be held, rescheduled or canceled as desired by the Parish Council.
Regular meetings shall adjourn at 10:00 P.M. and any pending business shall be immediately resumed at the next regular meeting of the Parish Council.
RULE 1. (REVISED)
The St. Charles Parish Council shall hold Regular Meetings in the Council Chamber of the Parish Courthouse, in Hahnville, which shall commence at 5:30 o'clock P.M., on the first Monday to handle all Special Business recognizing all recipients of Proclamations, In Recognitions and In Memoriams and in addition not more than two reports pre-advertised and approved by the Council be presented at each meeting and at 6:00 o'clock P.M. on the third Monday of each month.
