ORDINANCE NO. 01-8-11
Title
An ordinance authorizing and approving the permit for Big Al's Pizza Factory, located at 737 Paul Maillard Road. in Luling to serve alcoholic beverages for consumption in the outdoor area surrounding the establishment.
Body
WHEREAS, As required by the St. Charles Parish Code of Ordinances, Chapter 3, Section 3-6 (e), the applicants, Al and April Phillips filed a no-fee permit with the Department of Planning and Zoning to allow outdoor consumption of alcoholic beverages at Big Al's Pizza Factory, located at 737 Paul Maillard Road; and,
WHEREAS, Per the requirements of Chapter 3, Section 3-6 (e), the Department of Planning and Zoning posted a sign for a period of 5 days; and,
WHEREAS, Negative commentary was received from property owners within five hundred (500) feet of the applicant's affected property; and,
WHEREAS, Chapter 3, Section 3-6 (e) stipulates that if negative commentary is received from eligible property owners, the permit application shall be forwarded to the council secretary for timely consideration of an ordinance by the parish council; and,
WHEREAS, It is the desire of the St. Charles Parish Council to allow the outdoor consumption of alcoholic beverages being served by Big Al's Pizza Factory, located at 737 Paul Maillard Road in Luling.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the no-fee permit be approved for Al and April Phillips authorizing outdoor consumption of alcoholic beverages being served by Big Al's Pizza Factory, located at 737 Paul Maillard Road in Luling.
SECTION II. That all activities will be contained to the front face of the building.
