Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of a Lease Agreement between DJV, L.L.C. and St. Charles Parish for the River Parishes Workforce Development Board office space in St. Charles Parish.
Body
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish office of the River Parishes Workforce Development Board is currently located at 737 Paul Maillard Road, Suite A-1 in Luling; and,
WHEREAS, the current lease expires on September 30, 2026, and it desires that St. Charles Parish enter into a new lease agreement in the same location.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. The St. Charles Parish Council hereby approves the Lease Agreement between DJV, L.L.C. and St. Charles Parish for the office space to house the River Parishes Workforce Development Board.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Lease Agreement on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this ____ day of _____________, 2026, to become effective (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
