Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 1(Final) for Parish Project No. P090204 Ormond Boulevard Culvert Replacement to decrease the contract amount by $110,522.93 and add thirty seven (37) days to the contract time.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 11-1-10, adopted January 24, 2011, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with Fleming Construction Co., LLC for Parish Project No. P090204 Ormond Boulevard Culvert Replacement in the amount of $1,848,179.00; and,
WHEREAS, The decrease in contract amount resulted from the deletion of two line items in the amount of $222,875.00, adding five line items in the amount of $16,698.10, and changing thirty three line items with a net reduction of $95,653.97: and,
WHEREAS, The increase in contract time resulted from twenty seven days related to weather and 10 days for the change directive items.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS,
SECTION I. To approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. 1(Final) for Parish Project No. P090204 Ormond Boulevard Culvert Replacement to decrease the contract amount by $110,522.93 and increase the contract time by thirty seven (37) days.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
