Title
An ordinance to amend the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981, to change the land use zoning reclassification from OL to M-1 of the northern 5000 ft. of the lower 1/3 of the Mary Hotard Holmes Tract (589 CC Road) Montz, as requested by Cembell Industries.
Body
WHEREAS, the property owner requests rezoning the property from O-L to M-1 to permit industrial development; and,
WHEREAS, the St Charles Parish Planning and Zoning Department recommend approval of the request; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Planning and Zoning Commission recommended ________of the request at its regular meeting of December 4, 2014.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. An ordinance to amend the Zoning Ordinance of 1981, Ordinance No. 81-10-6, to approve the change in land use zoning classification from OL to M-1 on of the northern 5000 ft. of the lower 1/3 of the Mary Hotard Holmes Tract (589 CC Road) Montz, as requested by Cembell Industries.
SECTION II. That the St. Charles Parish Department of Planning & Zoning is authorized to amend the official St. Charles Parish Zoning Map to reflect this reclassification from of the northern 5000 ft. of the lower 1/3 of the Mary Hotard Holmes Tract (589 CC Road) Montz, as requested by Cembell Industries.
SECTION III. To authorize the Department of Planning and Zoning to change the Future Land Use Map, in the Comprehensive Land Use Plan adopted under Ordinance No. 11-6-11 from Rural Residential to Light Industrial on of the northern 5000 ft. of the lower 1/3 of the Mary Hotard Holmes Tract (589 CC Road) Montz.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:




And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of ___________, 2014 to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
