Title
A resolution to confirm the appointment of Mr. Kelly Buckwalter as a member to the Port of South Louisiana Commission.
Body
WHEREAS, by virtue of R.S. 34:2471, the Parish President shall appoint one member to the Port of South Louisiana Commission, who shall be a resident of St. Charles Parish; and,
WHEREAS, said appointment requires the concurrence of two-thirds of the members of the St. Charles Parish Council.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby confirm and concur with the appointment of Mr. Kelly Buckwalter, 668 West Pine Street, Norco, LA 70079, to the Port of South Louisiana Commission, serving a term concurrent with the appointing authority.
The foregoing resolution having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the resolution was declared adopted this day of , 2016, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
