An ordinance to revoke and abandon an undeveloped unnamed right-of-way adjacent to American Legion Post 366 in Destrehan.

WHEREAS, certain properties were laid out for use as a public street in what is identified on a survey by Lucien C. Gassen, P.E. dated January 15, 1972 as a resubdivision of Block 1 of St. Rose Terrace, being a resubdivision of Lot 10 and the adjoining three-fourths of Lot 11 of the Pecan Grove Plantation Subdivision, located in Section 46 T12S R9E and Section 41 T13S R9E; and,
WHEREAS, since the dedication, the property presently has no public use and/or benefit; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Council desires to revoke said property as provided by law unto the River Road Veterans Club, Inc., the present record owner of adjacent properties.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Act of Revocation of certain properties laid out for use as a public street in what is identified on a survey by Lucien C. Gassen, P.E. dated January 15, 1972 as a resubdivision of Block 1 of St. Rose Terrace, being a resubdivision of Lot 10 and the adjoining three-fourths of Lot 11 of the Pecan Grove Plantation Subdivision, located in Section 46 T12S R9E and Section 41 T13S R9E is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Act of Revocation in favor of the River Road Veterans Club, Inc.
