Title
An ordinance to amend the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981, to change the zoning classification from R-1A to R-1A(M) on a 5,100 sq. ft. portion of Lot 2, Palmer Lane, Ama, as requested by Michelle Petit on behalf of the property owner, Curtis Petit, Jr.
Body
WHEREAS, the property owner endorses a rezoning from R-1A to R-1A(M) on a 5,100 sq. ft. portion of Lot 2, Palmer Lane, Ama, as requested by Michelle Petit on behalf of the property owner, Curtis Petit Jr.; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Department recommended denial of the request; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended denial of the request at its regular meeting of December 2, 2021.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. The Zoning Ordinance of 1981 is amended to change the zoning classification from R-1A to R-1A(M) on a 5,100 sq. ft. portion of Lot 2, Palmer Lane, Ama, as requested by Michelle Petit on behalf of the property owner, Curtis Petit Jr.
SECTION II. The Department of Planning and Zoning is authorized to amend the Official Zoning Map, St. Charles Parish, Louisiana to reflect this reclassification from R-1A to R-1A(M) on a 5,100 sq. ft. portion of Lot 2, Palmer Lane, Ama, as requested by Michelle Petit on behalf of the property owner, Curtis Petit Jr.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:




And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of ___________, 2022 to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
