Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with Gilmore and Son Construction Corporation, for the construction of Parish Project No. S050101, Hackberry Street Sewer Lift Station Upgrade, in the amount of $404,000.00.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by St. Charles Parish on February 17, 2006 for Hackberry Street Sewer Lift Station Upgrade; and,
WHEREAS, Davezac Consulting Engineers, LLC, Consulting Engineers for the Project, have reviewed the bids and recommended that the Contract be awarded to the low bidder, Gilmore and Son Construction Corporation, in the amount of $404,000.00.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of Gilmore and Son Construction Corporation, for the construction of St. Charles Parish Project No. S050101, Hackberry Street Sewer Lift Station Upgrade, be hereby accepted, in the amount of $404,000.00.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the attached contract documents.

And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2006, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
