IN MEMORIAM
WHEREAS, on April 9, 2003, Almighty God, in His Infinite Wisdom, saw fit to call from amongst us one of His most worthy servants, Fenwick Appleton Swann; and,
WHEREAS, Fenwick Swann was both a loving father and grandfather and a dedicated Public Servant; and,
WHEREAS, Fenwick Swann was County Agent for St. Charles and St. Mary Parishes for 42 years; and,
WHEREAS, Fenwick Swann was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 2409, and an usher at Holy Family Catholic Church; and,
WHEREAS, Fenwick Swann was well known for his work in the agricultural field being known for his yearly tomato crop which he shared with local clergy; and,
WHEREAS, Fenwick Swann was a native of Marksville and a resident of St. Charles Parish for the past 32 years; and,
WHEREAS, on behalf of all citizens of St. Charles Parish, the Parish Council and the Parish President wish to posthumously honor Fenwick Swann as an outstanding and dedicated Public Servant of the Parish of St. Charles.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, duly assembled on this 18th day of August, 2003, do hereby express our sincere sympathy to the family of

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that when this meeting is adjourned, it shall be done in memory of Fenwick Appleton Swann.
