Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 1 for Parish Project No. P081102-8, Dunleith Canal Bank Stabilization - Phase 7, to balance the contract quantities with actual quantities resulting in a decrease of $27,500.00 in contract price and an increase in the contract time by ninety-four (94) days.
Body
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish awarded a Contract to Baker Pile Driving & Site Work with a Contract Price of $1,407,557 and a Contract Time of 180 days; and,
WHEREAS, the Contract is substantially complete; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the Contract resulting in a decrease in the Contract Price by $27,500.00 and an increase in the Contract Time by ninety-four (94) days as shown on the Change Order form.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Change Order No. 1 for Parish Project No. P081102-8, Dunleith Canal Bank Stabilization - Phase 7, to decrease the Contract Price by $27,500.00 and increase the Contract Time by ninety-four (94) days is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order on behalf of the Parish of St. Charles.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of , 2019, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
