Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a Lease with the Hahnville Volunteer Fire Department for property located in Fashion Plantation, Estates, Phase II.
Body
WHEREAS, on October 21, 2002, the St. Charles Parish Council adopted Ordinance No. 02-10-12 accepting the donation of Lot 306, Fashion Plantation Estates, Phase II from Fashion Plantation Estates, LLC; and,
WHEREAS, the Hahnville Volunteer Fire Department is the owner of Lot 307, Fashion Plantation Estates, Phase II; and,
WHEREAS the Department has proposed to construct a Fire House on said property however in order to meet the parking requirements of the Parish Code additional property is necessary; and,
WHEREAS it is the desire of the Parish President and the Parish Council to allow the Fire Department to utilize a portion of Lot 306 to meet said parking requirement.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Lease by and between St. Charles Parish and the Hahnville Volunteer Fire Department is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Lease on behalf of St. Charles Parish.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2003, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
