Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract for Engineering Services between Shread-Kuyrkendall & Associates, Inc. and St. Charles Parish for necessary professional engineering services associated with the Water Tower Demolition (WWKS 95).
Body
WHEREAS, the Water Tower Demolition (WWKS 95) is to remove (3) three water towers in the waterworks’ distribution system that are no longer in use; and,
WHEREAS, the Water Towers are located in St. Rose (300,000 gallons), Des Allemands (500,000 gallons) and Montz (100,000 gallons); and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Council desires to award a Contract for Engineering Services to Shread-Kuyrkendall & Associates, Inc. for said project.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Contract for Engineering Services between Shread-Kuyrkendall & Associates, Inc. and St. Charles Parish is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2018, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
