Title
A resolution placing a Moratorium on the issuance of permits for mobile homes on Wenger Road until December 31, 2003.
Body
WHEREAS, on July 3, 2003, the Planning & Zoning Commission will consider a proposal to rezone Wenger Road from R-1AM (allowing mobile homes) to R-1A (single residential); and,
WHEREAS, residents of Wenger Road have voiced there opinion in favor of R-1A zoning in writing to the District Councilman; and,
WHEREAS, until the proposed ordinance can be considered by the Parish Council, a Moratorium should be established on issuance of permits for mobile homes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby place a MORATORIUM on the issuance of permits for mobile homes on Wenger Road until December 31, 2003.
