Title

An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. 1 and final for the Hahnville Water Main Improvements - LA 18 to decrease the contract time by 2 Calendar Days and to decrease the contract amount by $22,568.17.

Body

WHEREAS,      That Ordinance No. 03-8-9 adopted August 18, 2003, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with Boh Bros. Construction Co., L.L.C. for the Hahnville Water Main Improvements - LA 18 in the amount of $676,080.00; and,

WHEREAS,      That it is necessary to decrease the contract time by 2 days and to decrease the contract amount by $22,568.17.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION I.      Approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. One (1) and final for the Hahnville Water Main Improvements - LA 18 to decrease the contract time by 2 Calendar Days and to decrease the contract amount by $22,568.17.

SECTION II.      That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute this Change Order to the contract.
