Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with All Star Electric, Inc for the Westbank Bridge Park Additions - Lighting in the amount of $154,650.00.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by the Parish on October 11, 2002 for the Westbank Bridge Park Additions - Lighting; and,
WHEREAS, Meyers Engineers, LTD., Consulting Engineers for the Project have reviewed the bids and recommend that the contract be awarded to the low bidder, All Star Electric, Inc. in the amount of $154,650.00.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of All Star Electric, Inc for the Westbank Bridge Park Additions - Lighting is hereby accepted in the amount of $154,650.00, to include the Base Bid of $62,200.00 plus Alternate No. 1 for $ 47,300.00 and Alternate No. 2 for $45,150.00.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
