IN RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, Brandie Nicole Clement is a resident of St. Charles Parish residing in Norco, Louisiana with her parents Alan and Lisa Clement and her siblings, Brittney and Brooke; and,
WHEREAS, Brandie is a 2010 graduate of Destrehan High School and is currently a Sophomore at Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond majoring in Nursing; and,
WHEREAS, Brandie is on the Southeastern Louisiana University Dean's List, is the recipient of the Taylor Opportunity Program for Students (TOPS) Scholarship Stipend Award, Southeastern Louisiana University Progression Scholarship Award, and River Parishes Education Initiatives Grant for Character Education. She was Miss Congeniality of her Senior Class, has participated in Peer Support Leadership, Locks of Love, Buddy Walk, and is a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church; and,
WHEREAS, Brandie enjoys reading, traveling, cooking and baking with her mother, watching movies, scrapbooking, spending time with family and friends, and playing with her three Chihuahuas; Riley, Brinkley, and Kenzie; and,
WHEREAS, on Saturday, August 6, 2011, Brandie was crowned the 53rd Miss Queen at the Annual St. Charles Parish Festival Pageant held at Destrehan High School; and,
WHEREAS, Brandie describes herself as being optimistic, conscientious, and compassionate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
