Title

An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. 1 and final for the Repair of Ground Water Storage Tank No. 2 at the New Sarpy Water Plant to decrease the contract amount by $9,649.28 and to increase the contract time by 78 calendar Days.

Body

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

      SECTION I.      That Ordinance No. 01-1-17 adopted January 22, 2001, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with Low Land Construction for the Repair of Ground Water Storage Tank No. 2 at the New Sarpy Water Plant in the amount of $328,604.00; and,

      SECTION II.      That it is necessary to decrease the contract amount by $9,649.28 and to increase the contract time by 78 calendar days.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. One (1) and final for the Repair of Ground Water Storage Tank No. 2 at the New Sarpy Water Plant to decrease the contract amount by $9,649.28 and to increase the contract time by 78 Calendar Days.

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute this Change Order to the contract.
