Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. 1 and Final with Hy-Tech Roofing Services, Inc. for the replacement of the Parish Courthouse roof.
Body
WHEREAS, The St. Charles Parish Council adopted Ordinance No. 06-1-26 on January 23, 2006 approving a contract with Hy-Tech Roofing Services, Inc. for the replacement of the Courthouse roof; and,
WHEREAS, during the construction process it was discovered that certain counter flashing, metal cees and eave struts, which were not visible until roofing components were removed, were in need of replacement; and,
WHEREAS, Murray/Architects, Inc. has reviewed the change order and recommends approval.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Change Order No. 1 and Final to the contract between St. Charles Parish and Hy-Tech Roofing Services, Inc. in the amount of $17,615.00 is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
