Title

An ordinance to amend the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981, to change the zoning classification from R-1A(M) to R-2 on Lots 1, 2, & 3, Square 35, New Sarpy Subdivision, New Sarpy, as requested by Lydia M. Roberts.

Body

WHEREAS,                     the property owner requests rezoning from R-1A(M) to R-2 on Lots 1, 2, & 3, Square 35, New Sarpy Subdivision, New Sarpy; and,

WHEREAS,                     the Planning and Zoning Department recommended denial of the request; and,

WHEREAS,                     the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended denial of the request at its regular meeting of July 7, 2022.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

                     SECTION I.                     The Zoning Ordinance of 1981 is amended to change the zoning classification from R-1A(M) to R-2 on Lots 1, 2, & 3, Square 35, New Sarpy Subdivision, New Sarpy, as requested by Lydia M. Roberts.

SECTION II.                     The Department of Planning and Zoning is authorized to amend the Official Zoning Map, St. Charles Parish, Louisiana to reflect this reclassification from R-1A(M) to R-2 on Lots 1, 2, & 3, Square 35, New Sarpy Subdivision, New Sarpy, as requested by Lydia M. Roberts.

                     The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:

 

 

 

 

                     And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of _______, 2022 to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
