IN RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, Tyrell Cornwell has served St. Charles Parish dutifully for six years as a commissioner on the St. Charles Parish Housing Authority; and,
WHEREAS, Ms. Cornwell has served as chairwoman for many years during times of change and progress; and,
WHEREAS, Ms. Cornwell assumed the role of Interim Executive Director of the Housing Authority at a time of great challenges and met the needs of the community valiantly; and,
WHEREAS, Ms. Cornwell's leadership, compassion, and strong determination to succeed served the community and residents of the Housing Authority well; and,
WHEREAS, Ms. Cornwell serves as an example to other citizens by selflessly giving of herself for the betterment of her community and positively impacting those around her; and,
WHEREAS, the Parish President and Council wish to convey our deepest appreciation to Ms. Tyrell Cornwell for her service as Interim Executive Director of the St. Charles Parish Housing Authority.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
