Title
A resolution in support of the St. Charles Parish application to the Louisiana Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism, Office of State Parks, Division of Outdoor Recreation for a grant to fund the development of Phase I of Rathborne Park in Luling, Louisiana.
Body
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish is submitting a grant application for funding from the Land and Water Conservation Fund, through the Louisiana Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism; and,
WHEREAS, the Land and Water Conservation Fund application requires a resolution of support from the local governing body; and,
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish is applying for this grant with matching funds of $150,000.00 pledged in the 2009 Parish Budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby support the St. Charles Parish application to the Louisiana Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism, Office of State Parks, Division of Outdoor Recreation for a grant to fund the development of Phase I of Rathborne Park in Luling, Louisiana.
