Title

An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with Low Land Construction Company, Inc. for the Repair of Ground Water Storage Tank No. 2 a New Sarpy Water Plant in the amount of $328,604.00.

Body

WHEREAS,      sealed bids were received by the Parish on December 1, 2000, for the Repair of Ground Water Storage Tank No. 2 a New Sarpy Water Plant; and,

WHEREAS,      Shread-Kuyrkendall & Associates, Inc., Consulting Engineers for the project have reviewed the bid and recommended the award of the contract to Low Land Construction Company, Inc. in the amount of $328,604.00.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

      SECTION I.      That the bid of Low Land Construction Company, Inc. for the Repair of Ground Water Storage Tank No. 2 a New Sarpy Water Plant be hereby accepted in the amount of $328,604.00.

      SECTION II.      That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the attached contract documents.
