ORDINANCE NO.                    

Title

An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 1 (final) for Bertucci Contracting Company, LLC, for PO-42 West LaBranche Shoreline Protection Project, Coastal Impact Assistance Program to decrease the construction days by 10 and to increase the contract amount by $10,370.50.

Body

WHEREAS,      Ordinance No. 12-12-3 adopted December 3, 2012 by the St. Charles Parish Council awarded construction of the West LaBranche Shoreline Protection Project to Bertucci Contracting Company, LLC.; and,

WHEREAS,      Because of site condition changes between the original survey date of May 2010 and the construction start date of February 2013 more rock was required to complete the project.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

      SECTION I.      To approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. 1 (final) for Bertucci Contracting Company, LLC, for PO-42 West LaBranche Shoreline Protection Project, Coastal Impact Assistance Program to decrease the construction days by 10 and to increase the contract amount by $10,370.50.

      SECTION II.      That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
