Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with Volute, Inc. for Parish Project No. S190901 Destrehan Wastewater Treatment Plant (UV Replacement), with a Bid in the amount of $342,887.00.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by St. Charles Parish on June 9, 2020, for Parish Project No. S190901 Destrehan Wastewater Treatment Plant (UV Replacement); and,
WHEREAS, AIMS Group, Inc. Consulting Engineers for the Project, have reviewed the bids and recommend that the Bid be awarded to the low bidder, Volute, Inc. in the total amount of $342,887.00.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of Volute, Inc. for the construction of St. Charles Parish Project No. S190901 Destrehan Wastewater Treatment Plant (UV Replacement), is hereby approved and accepted, in the amount of $342,887.00.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
SECTION lll. A final Notice of Contract shall be printed and filed in place of the contract documents with the St. Charles Parish Clerk of Court and in the records of the St. Charles Parish Council.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
