IN   RECOGNITION
WHEREAS,      St. Charles Parish Parks and Recreation Department has long held a prominent place in the State of Louisiana and the United States as an outstanding Parish and Recreation Program; and,
WHEREAS,      the St. Charles Parish 8-Year Old Girls All-Stars have excelled in the 2009 All-Star Softball Season; and,
WHEREAS,      the St. Charles 8-Year Old Girls All-Stars finished in first place in both Port Allen and Donaldsonville All-Star Tournaments; and,
WHEREAS,      on July 9-11, 2009, the St. Charles 8-Year Old Girls All-Stars finished first in the Babe Ruth State Tournament in Kenner, Louisiana; and,
WHEREAS,      members of the Parish Council and the Parish President wish to recognize the outstanding performance of members of the 2009 St. Charles 8-Year Old Girls All-Stars and their Coaches.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, DO HEREBY RECOGNIZE
