Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. One for the Bayou Gauche Walking Track project number P020802 to increase the contract amount by $3,538.00 and to increase the contract time by twenty-three (23) days to complete the work.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 03-7-10, adopted on July 21, 2003 by the St. Charles Parish Council approved and authorized the execution of a contract with Civil Construction Contractors, Inc. for the construction of the Bayou Gauche Walking Track in the amount of $51,839.00; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to increase the contract amount by $3,538.00 and to increase the contract time by twenty-three (23) days to complete the work.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. To approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. One for the Bayou Gauche Walking Track project number P020802 to increase the contract amount by $3,538.00 and to increase the contract time by twenty-three (23) days to complete the work.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the Parish of St. Charles.
