Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of an Engineering Services Contract with Shread-Kuyrkendall & Associates, Inc. for the design of Parish Project No. P021201, Three-Year Road Maintenance Program (2003, 2004, 2005).
Body
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Council desires to have Parish Project No. P021201, Three-Year Road Maintenance Program (2003, 2004, 2005) completed; and,
WHEREAS, this project requires professional services for the preparation of the annual road maintenance study, design, and administration of road repairs, overlays, shoulder and/or curb repair as determined by a new Parishwide Priority Ranking System; and,
WHEREAS, the QBS Selection Board met on February 26, 2003 and recommended award of Parish Project No. P021201, Three-Year Road Maintenance Program (2003, 2004, 2005) to Shread-Kuyrkendall & Associates, Inc. (See Attachment A).
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Engineering Services Contract with Shread-Kuyrkendall & Associates, Inc. for the design of Parish Project No. P021201, Road Maintenance Program (2003, 2004, 2005) be hereby accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the attached Engineering Services Contract.

And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of __________, 2003, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
