Title
A resolution requesting the Louisiana Attorney General to provide its opinion regarding whether sign in sheets at Town Hall Meetings are public record.
Body
WHEREAS, sign in sheets are used by the Council Members to provide them with contact information on those attending and interested in the discussion; and,
WHEREAS, sign in sheets are used by the Council Members to contact those who have attended the town hall meetings to provide updates on the subject(s) discussed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby request the Louisiana Attorney General to provide its opinion regarding whether sign in sheets at Town Hall Meetings are public record.
