Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the Parish President to acquire a 0.727 acre perpetual drainage servitude over property identified as Parcel No. 2-1 and a 0.415 acre perpetual drainage servitude over property identified as Parcel No. 2-2 both in Section 15, Township 12 South - Range 7 East; a 0.486 acre perpetual drainage servitude over property identified as Parcel No. 2-3 in Sections 14 and 15, Township 12 South - Range 7 East; a 0.162 acre perpetual drainage servitude over property identified as Parcel No. 6-1 in Sections 49 and 50, Township 12 South - Range 8 East; a 0.226 acre perpetual drainage servitude over property identified as Parcel No. 6-2 and a 0.407 acre perpetual drainage servitude over property identified as Parcel No. 6-3 both in Section 50, Township 12 South - Range 8 East all in the Town of MONTZ, St. Charles Parish, Louisiana, which property is more particularly described in the Act of Servitude attached hereto and made a part hereof, from CRISTINA & LAURICELLA, INC., and/or all other owners of record, as their interests may appear, said property to be used for drainage purposes in connection with Parish Project P080802-5 Coulee Canal Access for Maintenance - Phase II.

WHEREAS, the area near Evangeline Road in Montz, St. Charles Parish, Louisiana has a history of drainage problems; and,
WHEREAS, an Engineering Analysis was completed along the length of the Coulee Canal, which produced recommendations to improve the drainage conveyance system in said area including cleaning and reshaping the Coulee Canal; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed drainage improvement project requires the acquisition of a perpetual drainage servitude over Parcel Nos. 2-1 and 2-2 in Section 15, Township 12 South - Range 7 East; Parcel No. 2-3 in in Sections 14 and 15, Township 12 South - Range 7 East; Parcel No. 6-1 in in Sections 49 and 50, Tow...
