IN   RECOGNITION
 
WHEREAS,      Jessica Bilyeu is a resident of Lafourche Parish residing in Raceland, Louisiana with her husband Nicholas; and,
WHEREAS,      Jessica attended Nicholls State University and majored in Music Education; and,
WHEREAS,      Jessica is a member of Sigma Alpha Lota, the Symphony Chorus of New Orleans, she does volunteer work through Sigma Alpha Lota and through the Capital One Community Corps; and,
WHEREAS,      Jessica served as Branch Project Lead for Capital One Community Corps, recording secretary and Past President for Sigma Alpha Lota; and,
WHEREAS,      Jessica is currently employed as a Universal Branch Associate with Capital One; and,
WHEREAS,      Jessica enjoys singing, reading, sleeping, and cooking; and,
WHEREAS,      Jessica was crowned the Ms. Queen of the St. Charles Parish Relay for Life pageant held on Saturday, January 18, 2014, at the John L. Dorsey Multi-Purpose Center in Boutte, Louisiana; and,
WHEREAS,      Relay for Life is the American Cancer Society's signature activity uniting communities to celebrate cancer survivors, remember people who lost their battle to the disease, and honor those still fighting while raising awareness and funds for the fight against cancer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
