Title

A resolution strongly requesting the Parish President to instruct the Finance Director to withhold any method of payment to Waste Management of Louisiana, LLC for failure to perform as specified in the Contract signed February 20, 2001.

Body

WHEREAS,      performance of services as stated in the Contract Documents and Specifications for Solid Waste Collection for St. Charles Parish has not been adhered to; and,

WHEREAS,      penalties for breach of service as stated in Section 16.00 of said Contract should be enforced to the maximum.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby strongly request the Parish President to instruct the Finance Director to withhold any method of payment to Waste Management of Louisiana, LLC for failure to perform as specified in the Contract signed February 20, 2001.
