Title
An ordinance to revoke and abandon a right-of-way for undeveloped Spruce Avenue and Pine Street in St. Rose in favor of the property owner Three C's Properties.
Body
WHEREAS, certain property was laid out for use as Spruce Avenue and Pine Street in the Plat of Almedia Townsite by J.W. Sheldon, Jr. dated December 23, 1927; and,
WHEREAS, the property is not presently developed as a street and has no public use and/or benefit; and,
WHEREAS, a portion of Pine Street was revoked previously in accordance with ordinance 94-8-2; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Council desires to revoke said property pursuant to Chapter 2 Sec. 2-4 of the St. Charles Parish Code of Ordinances as indicated on a survey by Richard Dading, Surveyor, dated October 31, 2006.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Act of Revocation of property laid out for use as Spruce Avenue and Pine Street on the Plat of Almeida Townsite by J. W. Sheldon, Jr. dated December 23, 1927 is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Act of Revocation in favor of the adjacent property owner, Three C's Properties as indicated on a survey by Richard Dading, surveyor, dated October 31, 2006.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
