Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 1(Final) for Parish Project No. P070108 Schexnayder Pump Station Bar Screen Cleaner and Deck to decrease the contract amount by $25,141.00 and decrease the contract time by thirty three (33) days.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 09-12-5, adopted December 21, 2009, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with BLD Services, LLC for Parish Project No. P070108 Schexnayder Pump Station Bar Screen Cleaner and Deck in the amount of $2,163,567; and,
WHEREAS, the decrease in contract amount resulted from the deletion of two line items in the amount of $77,400, decreasing three line items in the amount of $17,000, and increasing three line items in the amount of $69,259; and,
WHEREAS, the decrease in contract time was a result of excellent weather and contractor management of their schedule.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Change Order No. 1(Final) for Parish Project No. P070108 Schexnayder Pump Station Bar Screen Cleaner and Deck to decrease the contract amount by $25,141.00 and decrease the contract time by thirty three (33) days is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
