Title
An ordinance to amend the 2002 Consolidated Operating and Capital Budget to provide funds in the Parish Transportation Fund and the Road & Drainage Fund for the contract amendment approved by the Council on March 25, 2002 executing a change order for Parish Project P000801 Road Overlay 2000-2001 to add repairs requested by St. Charles Parish Council for Kliner Rd. in DesAllemands, Early St. in Paradis, and Texaco/Cousins Rd. in Luling.

WHEREAS, the 2002 St. Charles Parish Consolidated Operating and Capital Budget was adopted by Ordinance No. 01-10-13 on October 18, 2001; and amended February 15, 2002 by Executive Order 02-1, March 20, 2002 by Executive Order 02-2, March 25, 2002 by Ordinance No. 02-3-7, and April 10, 2002 by Executive Order 02-3, and;
WHEREAS, the Council has taken under consideration the study of the amendment to the St. Charles Parish Consolidated Operating and Capital Budget for fiscal year 2002 as shown by the Revision Schedule.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. In accordance with the provisions of Article V, Sections D, E, and F of the St. Charles Parish Home Rule Charter and with the Louisiana Local Government Budget Act (R.S. 39:1301 et. seq.), the St. Charles Parish Council does hereby ordain to adopt the 2002 St. Charles Parish Consolidated Operating and Capital Budget as amended, and that it be attached hereto and made a part hereof and identified as "Exhibit A".

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the Ordinance was declared adopted this ____ day of _____________, 2002, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
