Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with M.R. Pittman Group for the Eastbank C Plant Water Treatment Plant Clarifier Refurbishment (Project No. WWKS 60) in the amount of $1,134,000.00.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by the Parish on May 11, 2012, for the Eastbank C Plant Water Treatment Plant Clarifier Refurbishment (Project No. WWKS 60); and,
WHEREAS, Jacobs Engineering has reviewed the bids and recommend that the Contract be awarded to the low bidder, M.R. Pittman Group in the amount of $1,134,000.00.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of M.R. Pittman Group for the Eastbank C Plant Water Treatment Plant Clarifier Refurbishment (Project No. WWKS 60) be hereby approved and accepted in the amount of $1,134,000.00.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said contract documents on behalf of St. Charles Parish.

And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2012, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
