IN RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, Louis Paul Spitz is a resident of St. Charles Parish residing in Luling, Louisiana with his parents Matthew and Holly, and younger brothers Avery and Simon; and,
WHEREAS, Louis is a member of Troop 370 chartered by St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Luling; he started his Scouting career June 2014; and,
WHEREAS, Louis has spent the last 6 years as an active member of the Scouts spending the last 5 years preparing to become an EAGLE SCOUT; and,
WHEREAS, Louis has earned his 26 merit badges from a list of 137 badges and completed his Eagle Scout Service Project by building a work bench with retractable seating for the Tigerbots Robotics Team at Hahnville High School; and,
WHEREAS, Louis earned these 26 merit badges by showing leadership ability as Quartermaster, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, Troop Guide, Patrol Leader, and Assistant Patrol Leader; and,
WHEREAS, Louis rose to the rank of EAGLE SCOUT on June 26, 2019, and received his medal in a ceremony held on January 25, 2020, at the VFW Post 3750 West St. Charles Building in Luling; and,
WHEREAS, Louis is a 2020 graduate of Hahnville High School, and will continue to grow as an EAGLE SCOUT by providing leadership as an Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 370.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
