Title
An ordinance to amend Ordinance No. 11-9-2 which levied an assessment on the 2011 ad valorem tax bills of property owners that are delinquent in paying outstanding invoices for removal of weeds, grass, etc. and/or the removal of unsafe structures, trash and debris to amend the billing period.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 11-9-2 adopted by the St. Charles Parish Council on September 6, 2011 made reference to outstanding invoices billed "during the calendar year of 2011", in Section I of said Ordinance, which does not coincide with the actual billing cycle and Exhibit "A" attached thereto; and,
WHEREAS, It is the desire of the parish Council to amend said Ordinance to correct this error.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Section I of Ordinance No. 11-9-2 adopted by the St. Charles Parish Council on September 6, 2011 is hereby amended to read as follows:
SECTION I. That in accordance with the St. Charles Parish Code, Chapter 16, Article III, Section 16-28 and Article IV, Section 16-51, there is hereby levied and assessed onto the ad valorem tax bills of the properties listed on Exhibit "A" the charges, noted therein, for outstanding invoices billed for services performed on said property.
SECTION II. That all other provisions of said ordinance shall remain as first written.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
