Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a Contract with Ready Power, LLC., for generator modifications and transfer switch at the St. Charles Parish Emergency Operations Center at 15026 River Road in Hahnville, Base bid in the amount of $342,000.00, Parish Project No. P160501.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by St. Charles Parish on June 28, 2016, for Parish Project No. P160501; and,
WHEREAS, Huseman and Associates Consulting Engineers, Jason Chauvin, PE, the Engineer for said project, has reviewed the bids and recommended that the Contract be awarded to the low bidder, Ready Power, LLC, in the amount of $342,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of St. Charles Parish to award the Base Bid (Parish Project No. P160501), for modifying the generators and adding a transfer switch to the Emergency Operations Center.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of Ready Power LLC, for the construction of Parish Project No. P160501, is hereby approved and accepted in the amount of $342,000.00.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2016, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
