ORDINANCE NO.
Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with MMR Construction for the construction of Project P000303 Parish Wide Drainage System Telemetry Phase II in the amount of $346,841.00.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by the Parish on June 1, 2001 for the Parish Wide Drainage System Telemetry Phase II; and,
WHEREAS, GSE Associates, Inc., Consulting Engineers for the Project, have reviewed the bids and recommend that the Contract be awarded to the low bidder, MMR Construction in the amount of $346,841.00.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of MMR Construction for the construction of Parish Wide Drainage System Telemetry Phase II be hereby accepted in the amount of $346,841.00.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the attached contract documents.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
