Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a Contract with the State of Louisiana Division of Administration for the FY 2014 Louisiana Community Development Block Grant (LCDBG) Program for funding in the amount of $731,255.00 to construct the Killona Force Main Extension in Hahnville.
Body
WHEREAS, the Parish was notified by way of letter from Governor Bobby Jindal dated March 31, 2015, that the Parish's FY 2014 LCDBG Program Public Facilities application for Killona Force Main Extension in Hahnville was approved for funding in the amount of $731,255.00; and,
WHEREAS, the State has prepared the necessary Contract to implement said Program; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish Council to approve said Contract.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Contract by and between the State of Louisiana Division of Administration and St. Charles Parish for the FY 2014 LCDBG Program is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Contract and to act on behalf of St. Charles Parish in all matters pertaining to the FY 2014 LCDBG Program.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2015, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
