Title
An ordinance to amend the St. Charles Parish Comprehensive Land Use Plan, entitled “St. Charles 2030” to update the Future Land Use Map.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 11-6-11 adopted the St. Charles Parish Comprehensive Land Use Plan, entitled “St. Charles 2030”; and,
WHEREAS, the “St. Charles 2030” contained a Future Land Use Map (FLUM) as one of its components; and,
WHEREAS, since the adoption of “St. Charles 2030” the FLUM has been modified by acts of rezoning passed by the St. Charles Parish Council; and
WHEREAS, the “St. Charles 2030” is in its fifth year of adoption it is time to update the FLUM officially.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the St. Charles Parish Comprehensive Land Use Plan, entitled “St. Charles 2030” is hereby updated to adopt the “St, Charles Parish Future Land Use Map 2016”.
SECTION II. That the “St. Charles Parish Future Land Use Map 2016” shall replace the FLUM adopted as a part of Ordinance No. 11-6-11.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2016, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
