Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. Two (2) for the Cousins Canal Pump Station Addition for West Bank Drainage Improvements to increase the contract time by 88 calendar days.
Body
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Ordinance No. 98-3-9 adopted March 9, 1998 by the St.
Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with Bartlett Construction, Inc. for the construction of the Cousins Canal Pump Station Addition for West Bank Drainage Improvements in the amount of $827,000, and,
SECTION II. That Ordinance No. 99-5-6 adopted May 3, 1999, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of Change Order No. One (1) to increase the contract time by 53 calendar days; and,
SECTION III. That it is necessary to increase the contract time by 88 calendar days.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. Two (2) to the contract for Cousins Canal Pump Station Addition for West Bank Drainage Improvements to increase the contract time by 88 calendar days; and,
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute this Change Order to the contract.
