Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of Amendment No. 11 to Ordinance No. 80-7-4, to revise the formula utilized to distribute sales tax revenues to the Parish Volunteer Fire Departments.
Body
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Council has contracted with the St. Charles Firemen's Association, Inc., to provide Fire Protection Services to St. Charles Parish; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Firemen's Association, Inc., by Resolution dated February 10, 2011, has requested that the Parish Council revise the formula utilized to distribute funds to the Parish Volunteer Fire Departments.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Ordinance No. 80-7-4, is hereby amended by revising Section (L) as stated in Contract Amendment No. 11.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Contract Amendment No. 11, on behalf of the Parish of St. Charles.
