Title
An ordinance to amend the 2002 Consolidated Operating and Capital Budget to provide grant revenues and related expenses to purchase 9.7 acres in James Business Park, St. Rose for the Louisiana Economic Development Corporation's Economic Development Award Program Infrastructure award for Randa, Corp.; to provide funds for docking of the Denver in the Economic Development & Tourism Department; to transfer funds from General Fund to the Solid Waste Fund to cover a cash deficit; and to provide revenues and expenditures for three Rural Development Grants in the Parks & Recreation Fund.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
WHEREAS, the 2002 St. Charles Parish Consolidated Operating and Capital Budget was adopted by Ordinance No. 01-10-13 on October 18, 2001; and amended February 15, 2002 by Executive Order 02-1, March 20, 2002 by Executive Order 02-2, March 25, 2002 by Ordinance No. 02-3-7, April 10, 2002 by Executive Order 02-3, and June 5, 2002 by Executive Order 02-4; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has taken under consideration the study of the amendment to the St. Charles Parish Consolidated Operating and Capital Budget for fiscal year 2002 as shown by the Revision Schedule.
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with the provisions of Article V, Sections D, E, and F of the St. Charles Parish Home Rule Charter and with the Louisiana Local Government Budget Act (R.S. 39:1301 et. seq.), the St. Charles Parish Council does hereby ordain to adopt the 2002 St. Charles Parish Consolidated Operating and Capital Budget as amended, and that it be attached hereto and made a part hereof and identified as "Exhibit A".
