Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with Digco Utility Construction, LP for the construction of Parish Project No. S080503, Priority Lift Stations & Force Mains, with a Bid in the amount of $1,510,228.00.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by St. Charles Parish on November 4, 2010 for Priority Lift Stations & Force Mains; and,
WHEREAS, Environmental Engineering Services, Inc, Consulting Engineers for the Project, have reviewed the bids and recommend that the Bid of the Contract be awarded to the low bidder, Digco Utility Construction, LP, in the amount of $1,510,228.00.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of Digco Utility Construction, LP, for the construction of St. Charles Parish Project No. S080503, Priority Lift Stations & Force Mains, be hereby approved and accepted, in the amount of $1,510,228.00.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
