RESOLUTION NO.
Title
A resolution appointing a member to the River Parishes Tourist Commission representing the St. Charles Parish Council.
Body
WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the RIVER PARISHES TOURIST COMMISSION due to the expiration of the term of Mr. Noble J. Benoit on October 31 2026; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish Council to fill this vacancy; and,
WHEREAS, said commissioner shall be subject to confirmation by the Senate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that is hereby appointed to the RIVER PARISHES TOURIST COMMISSION representing the St. Charles Parish Council.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said appointment shall be effective OCTOBER 31, 2026 and shall expire OCTOBER 31, 2030.
The foregoing resolution having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the resolution was declared adopted this day of , 2026, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
