IN   RECOGNITION

 

WHEREAS,                     James “Jimmy” Breaux is a resident of St. Charles Parish, residing in Ama, Louisiana.  He was married for 50 years to the late Lena Cannalito; and,

 

WHEREAS,                     Jimmy is the proud father of four children; Sabrina married to Percy Bergeron, Ricky Breaux, the late Rodney Breaux, and the late James J. Breaux, Jr., and is the proud Grandfather of five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and,

 

WHEREAS,                     Jimmy was an employee at Cytec and retired after 35 years; and,

 

WHEREAS,                     Jimmy has devoted 40 years of service as a member of the St. Charles Parish Civil Service Board as the Parish President representative; and,

 

WHEREAS,                     Jimmy served as Chairman of the Board from 2004-2010 and 2018-2021; and served as Vice-Chairman of the Board from 1987-1994, 2001-2003, and 2014-2017; and,

 

WHEREAS,                     Jimmy’s loyalty, dedication, and professionalism, established an exemplary standard during his tenure as a member of the St. Charles Parish Civil Service Board.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
