Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of a Professional Services Agreement with Alpha Testing and Inspection, Inc. for the testing of Parish Project No. P210302 Asphalt Pavement Maintenance.
Body
WHEREAS, on May 17, 2021, the St. Charles Parish Council approved Ordinance No. 21-5-12 approving and authorizing the execution of a contract with Barriere Construction Co., LLC for the Maintenance Contract of Parish Project No. P210302 Asphalt Pavement Maintenance, with Bid in the amount of $2,563,450.00; and,
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish Department of Public Works/Wastewater desires to have work performed on the project tested to ensure compliance with contract plans and specifications; and,
WHEREAS, the attached Professional Services Agreement between St. Charles Parish and Alpha Testing and Inspection, Inc. describes the details of the proposed services and compensation.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Professional Services Agreement between St. Charles Parish and Alpha Testing and Inspection, Inc. for services as required by the Department of Public Works is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Agreement on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2021, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
